Alrighty everyone, been a while now. Let's see, my new switch is running beautifully, my internet is working 100% better, and I think I've got all the kinks worked out of my network. I took out the NAT from my wireless router, so it's acting like a WAP now, which is cool. I have all the network devices all on the same subnet now. YAY. LOL. Basicly, when I use Boxee, which everyone should check out, I can use the iPhone app to control it. So I did some cleaning today, found a good powersupply. So I got myself a Cisco Catalyst 2948G. Thing rocks... LOL. I've spent the day getting used to CatOS. Coming from IOS, it's a little different, but not too bad. I installed Spiceworks, and love it. I also helped a friend of mine out setting up a site. Been a crazy day. I'm gonna make this a short post, because I gotta get up early, and I'm beat. Hit me up on Twitter or whatever.

Ok... been having lots of problems with my home DSL. Call up Windstream, they have no idea... said it's working now... no shit... call back when its messed up... well... when it only goes out for a minute at a time... and avg call time is 10 just to get to a tech... that's a little hard. Call again... get a nice guy... he sees its been going down... a lot... think my avg is 20 times in an hour... wanna count that up... anyway... so he sends a tech out... tech shows up today... two days late BTW. Lines look good... but i have an old modem... no shit... but i like that modem... so new modem...Read more
